A new fashion week on the South Florida coast
Sunny Isles Beach Fashion Week debuted on May 29, 2026 at MIA Oceanfront. The runway brought designers, models, media and South Florida creative teams together for an evening that moved from swimwear and resort looks to structured couture.
I worked as part of the official makeup and hair team, following a shared creative direction alongside the other artists.
Working on a runway schedule
A runway look has to match the creative direction, work under show lighting and photograph well. The schedule is tight, so clear communication and smooth handoffs matter as much as technique.
That season also included backstage makeup for a runway presentation by celebrity stylist Jason Meir. It was another chance to work quickly without sacrificing detail.
What runway experience brings to weddings
The same skills matter on a wedding day: a realistic service timeline, products chosen for South Florida humidity and attention to detail without falling behind schedule.
Keeping appointments on time leaves room for getting dressed, photographs and time with family and friends.
A season of editorial and event work
Alongside SIB Fashion Week, 2026 projects included Fort Lauderdale Swim Week in Bloom, Hollywood Couture South Florida and the Original Living Magazine Cover Party. My work also received a cover credit in MALVIE Magazine, June 2026, Vol. 60.
